I keep seeing headlines that read, “McCain defends Palin pick”. Personally, I don’t understand why he needs to defend a stroke of genius. What I’d like to see is a call for Obama to apologize for selecting a tired political hack like Joe Biden as his running mate. Aren’t these guys supposed to be offering change…or is change all we’ll have left in our pockets after their tax and spend programs kick in?
What I do see are the same smear tactics by Obama that the Clintons have employed against their opponents for years. This time, such vitriol didn’t work for Hillary and it probably won’t work for Barry-O either. The Dems may simply have gone to that well once too often. The Messiah is even throwing in the victimhood thing that Hillary used when she began her panic slide. What ever happened to strength and conviction in a leader?
Last Friday at a campaign stop in Scranton, Pennsylvania he whined, “When they say this isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities, what they’re really saying is, “We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that, you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections, or we’re going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals, or he’s not patriotic”. Gee…poor Barry! Will we be seeing tears anytime soon?
The fact is, Obama’s youth is rich with Muslim influences. He not only hangs out with radicals but, also, unrepentant terrorists, felons and racist anti-American clergymen. Does he figure Bill Ayres and Tony Rezko for choir boys? Heck, his wife is a racist! The problem is, whenever someone doesn’t agree with him, Obama thinks he’s being dissed. Hey guy…if you wanna’-be president, you need a thicker skin.
What an interesting double standard to see his disciples wander as far out of bounds as they please launching viscious personal attacks against Governor Palin or John McCain but when legitimate questions are raised about The Community Organizer, he sticks out his lower lip and throws a hissy-fit like a three year old. The real question is, when does his childish behavior end and accountability to the American people begin? If not now, when?
