Congratulations to the NFL for having the courage to call the first play on the side of fairness and humanity. I was pleased to see a headline today which read, “NFL Suspends Michael Vick Indefinitely.” It’s a move in the right direction. Once the field clears, moral justice would be well served by a lifetime suspension, at the very least.
Now it’s up to the legal system to keep this bloodstained Neanderthal from scrambling away from the inexcusable crimes to which he has admitted.
