Which way’s the camera, get me a microphone, where’s the camera??? It looks like Chuck “Hey I’m over here” Schumer is at it again…or still. Sometimes it’s hard to tell because he’s like a nasty rash; he’s everywhere and keeps coming back. This time the Senator is griping about the confirmations of Judges Alito and Roberts to the Supreme Court. He says the Libs were duped…hoodwinked on their nominations. But wait a minute. How is that possible?
I’m confused. Let’s back up. Everyone knows George Bush is stupid. He’s a real doorknob, right? I mean, ask John Kerry or any Democrat for that matter. Yet, they say he stole the election from them in 2000 and did it again in 2004. He snatched it right out from under their noses both times. As if to add insult to injury, according to Hillary Marx Clinton and her European Socialist colleagues, he pulled the wool over their eyes and fooled them into voting the wrong way on use of force in Iraq, too! Now, Schumer says Bush outwitted them, yet again, on these court appointments and he wants an investigation. Hey, there’s an idea Chuck. Let’s have an investigation. We haven’t had one of those in, what, ten minutes?
If someone wearing a red shirt has a habit of hitting you in the head with a stick and one day the same guy comes at you, with the same stick but wearing a white shirt, shouldn’t you have enough sense to duck? Schumer regrets not filibustering the Alito nomination because this historically Conservative judge testified he would be more moderate. I’ve got news for radical Leftists everywhere. Both Alito and Roberts are keeping their promises. The problem lies in your view of moderate, which looks quite different from the far left than from any other position. Then there are the donkeys in elephant’s clothes like Arlen Sphincter [aka Specter] who has no excuse for behaving like a mental patient other than, possibly, getting hit in the head once too many times with the aforementioned stick.
There is one question that has haunted me above all others. If The President is such a dunce and he’s had his way with them so easily, what does that make the Liberals? That was rhetorical; I think we all know. As for the big red pimple on the political buttocks of America, Mr. Schumer needs to bear in mind the old saw, “It is better to remain silent and thought the fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
