What a week! First The Sopranos dis their loyal fan base with a piece of tripe they referred to as their final episode. Then Paris Hilton is hustled back to the pokey to serve out her rightful sentence. Now ‘Dirty Harry Reid and his cathouse 50′ have to work on a weekend! Gee, where will it stop? Of course, the reason our unrepresentatives are working is so they can shove an unwanted piece of legislation down our throats and give away half the country to a band of illegal, undeserving, unAmericans.
In all my adult years, which are more considerable than I care to admit, I have never seen the Washington bureaucrats so far out of touch with the rest of the country. Did you ever think you’d see the alliance of George Bush, Dirty Harry and Chappaquiddick Ted? Now, the usually dependable Trent has cast his Lott with this unholy three…and let’s not forget the doddering John McCain, who obviously got hit on the head with the same stick as the rest of this gruesome quintet. Their cheeses have, evidently, slipped off their collective crackers. They’ve lost a sandwich on the way to the picnic. Their elevator stopped short of the top floor. Any way you say it, we’ve reached a turning point in American history and this unsavory political alliance is turning us in the wrong direction.
If it is blind ambition that is threatening America, then it is blind ambition that must be stopped. You and I have made our wishes known and we are being disrespected just as surely as David Chase has disrespected The Sopranos loyal fan base. If the amnesty bill is imposed upon this nation in any form each and every politician who votes for it, Democrat or Republican, requires voting out of office at the earliest opportunity and needs to know the reason why. That’s what primaries are for.
