Just when I was about to put my “Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys” tee shirt into mothballs, President Bush stood up breathing fire from his nostrils, swirling smoke from his ears and singed that sleazy band of Leftist scoundrels with the heat they’ve been earning for all too long! He was absolutely eloquent! This mob has been nipping at his heels like a pack of yapping Chihuahuas chasing a Great Dane. It’s about time the ‘big dog’, finally, said he’s sick and tired of it and he’s not going to take it anymore. Mr. Bush, stay on the offensive. It’s a terrific message to send our troops and a welcome posture for the people who put you into office!
The underhanded, undermining tactics of the Democrats are shameful. If they can’t get The President they pick off staff members, one by one. It’s all clearly aimed at him and he knows it. These low-lifes didn’t want Rumsfeld, Libby or Gonzales but they’ll take whomever they can get, all the while, making Mr. Bush’s already difficult job as nearly impossible as they can. On the matter of the eight prosecutors, as I’ve said, he owes no explanations to anyone, has been beyond generous and accommodating to offer as much as he has. Setting forth conditions, which prevent the questioning of his people from being turned into lynch-mob media mayhem, was brilliant. Kudos, Mr. President. It appears his offer will be rejected but mark my words, the Left will say it was withdrawn and their Lib cronies in the media will make a huge deal out of it.
It’s becoming clearer that the aim of today’s Democrat Party is to weaken the Presidency, thereby the Executive Branch, and change our system of government. To the extent this is allowed to happen a price will be paid, now and in the future, by anyone holding that office. For the rest of us, who have become accustomed to living in freedom and liberty, life with their socialist agenda would seem oppressive at best. Have you ever noticed that Pelosi, Reid, Ted Kennedy, Murtha, Durbin, Shrillery, Obama, Michael Moore, Boxer, the great Hollywood ac-tors and all the rest on the far Left never use those words? They never say anything about freedom, liberty or victory. To me, that speaks volumes. I’m convinced that if Roosevelt, Truman or John Kennedy were alive today, they’d be Republicans.
The uproar over this historically routine matter of dismissing prosecutors is, in fact, really about separation of powers among co-equal [I repeat, CO-EQUAL] branches of our government as established in the first three articles of the Constitution by our Founding Fathers. They never intended the kind of mob rule Chuckles ‘The Clown’ [Schumer] and his traveling circus are attempting to institute. Mr. Bush knows he cannot permit this assault upon our system or our Constitution; the American people dare not stand for it. By distributing the essential business of government among three separate but interdependent branches, the Constitutional Framers ensured that the principal powers of the government were not concentrated in the hands of any single branch. The separation of powers by which the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches remain independent and do not infringe upon each other’s rights or duties, is one of the basic doctrines in The United States Constitution. This doctrine is what has made it work for more than 2oo years. That is what’s under attack; that’s what these left wing Stalinists are trying to subvert. The fired attorneys are incidental.
The Liberal Democrats are quite a group. When they’re not giving aid and comfort to the terrorists they’re undermining our government. They don’t seem to care who destroys America or how, as long as they regain the power to reshape it. We’re fighting two enemies right now, one from without the other from within. Once again, nice going Mr. President. Stand strong. We need you!
