Two Jerks And A Joke

Today, I have one blonde joke, a statement and two questions.

The blonde joke is Valerie Plame. The more I learn about her conflicting, seemingly perjuristic testimony and about this non-event, the more I am reminded of a parady “G.M. On-Star” commercial I saw where the blonde driver locked the keys OUTside the car and didn’t know what to do. No matter what degree of P.M.S. ‘G.I. Plame’ is experiencing, she never fit the definition of covert, no one ever told her she was covert and she was NOT covert. Forget all of the banter and finger-pointing. No crime was committed. End of story.

My first question is when will this nonsense about the firing of prosecutors end? Again, what we have here is a non-event. No matter what Chuck ‘Where’s The Camera’ Schumer says, everyone was well within the province of both precedent and constitutional authority. The only reason anyone needs to be given for the dismissals is, “Because I’m the President, that’s why.” When the heck is Schumer going to resign, anyway? He can’t seem to keep the concept of separation of powers straight in that thing between his ears and I, for one, would like to see him clear out before he does lasting damage to our country.

The second question is, when are the Republicans going to start acting like Republicans and stop throwing people overboard? Are they going to feed Gonzales to the sharks, too? Some cahones would be a pleasant change and would be welcomed by the people who sent them to Washington. I’m beginning to wonder if any of these jellyfish knows what they’re supposed to be doing or if we have to start throwing tea into the harbor, again, because of taxation without representation?

Oops. That’s five questions.
