Double Whammy

It would seem that a certain element of people in this country have sunk to an all time low. Just when you think they can’t get any more vicious or dumber or more ignorant, the far left Libs open their minds so wide their [alleged] brains fall out. Actually, if you’ve noticed, that’s happening to Liberals more and more these days.

As if conspiring to prove my recent points about the Left being anti-American, invested in defeat, endangering our troops and emboldening our enemies, a suicide bomber makes an attempt on the life of Dick Cheney, The Vice President Of The United States Of America, and Liberal voices cheer. One of the two most significant leaders of the free world, including their own country, and they actually encourage the Islamic Nazis to try again! This is sick. It’s disgusting. It’s perverted. If Americans had behaved this way during WWII we’d all be speaking German on the East Coast and Japanese on the West. We’re fighting, albeit by proxy, a couple of petty third world cowards whose “clocks” this country could easily “clean” in less than two weeks, if unleashed, but because of a mountain of politically expedient restrictions combined with a bevy of bigmouths and political hacks, our military’s hands are tied. We need to turn our fighting forces loose and pursue this battle to win it! We’ve got to remember that America is the greatest nation on earth and begin to act like it. We’ve got to remember this country was attacked. Nobody gets away with that. How about we dust off a couple of those B2 bombers that are just sitting around the Midwest and make short work of it. As to those pathetic Leftist slimeballs who have no respect for anything, including themselves, I only hope that if the Islamo-Nazis ever do gain an upper hand, those people are the first ones to be visited by their dusky, desert heroes.

The consequence for an attempt on the life of an American Vice President, or any other American for that matter, should be a couple of holes in the ground where places like Iran and Syria used to be. Lake Iran. Lake Syria. They could build casinos and turn them into resort areas. That’ll bring the Battle of Iraq to a quick close. It would certainly cut the supply lines to all the outsiders killing our troops. By the way, just in case you don’t get it, I’ll explain why I refer to Iraq as a battle instead of a war in a future post. Right now I want to get to the second part of my concern.

Americans don’t like to lose. Not at anything. We’ve had no experience losing wars because nobody has ever beaten us. However, we have beaten ourselves on more than one occasion: in Korea, in Vietnam and we’re doing it again. Most people, myself included, disapprove of the way President Bush has handled Iraq. Not because we don’t belong there because we do. Not because it’s unwinnable because it is. Polls with slanted questions, a couple of has-been Generals and our illustrious lynch-mob media have developed an alternate reality to convince you otherwise. Most Americans I know disapprove because we have not been aggressive enough in Iraq. I repeat, not aggressive enough! We worry too much about world opinion and collateral damage. President Bush has magnificently ignored the onslaughts of the Left, slurs by critics and all the while [with one hand tied behind his back] he has kept us safe. He has been perfect, up to now, in performing the most important job a President has, keeping us safe but I fear he may be weakening. Who wouldn’t.

Remember 9/11? Don’t forget it my friend because that’s just a small beginning compared with what’s to come if our President, or anyone else in the government-to-be, backs off one inch! Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and all the rest are waiting for a milk-toast, appeasing Liberal Democrat administration or one run by a pseudo-Republican like John McCain so they can “turn the dogs loose” without fear. Mark my words. They cheered the Democrats in ‘06 and now they’re merely biding their time. Thanks to Mr. Bush they’ve been kept off balance for six years but, today, our country is playing right into their hands.

We’re sending a horrible message of weakness and poor resolve to the world and, specifically, to our enemies. The consequence for attacking our country, murdering civilians and killing our soldiers is talk. That’s a bad precedent. I was shocked, horrified and sorely disappointed to hear the announcement that we’re actually going to elevate this rabble to the status they’ve been seeking by chatting with the likes of that little Hitler wannabe from Iran Ahmad-alphabet [whatever] and other terrorists in a “neighborhood meeting”. Hey, let’s have a bar-b-cue! Who’s bringing the weenies? I hope it’s not us.
